This stunning Bob Mackie custom designed gold beaded evening gown was donated by the designer to the Fashion Café and it became part of their permanent collection starting in April 1995. A letter of provenance from the Fashion Cafe on their letterhead regarding his donation accompanies the dress. The dress was worn by Whitney Houston at the 1991 Billboard Awards when she performed and she can be seen performing in it on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRCiP8PnuHc. Also comes with photos of Whitney wearing the dress during her performance. In addition to the Fashion Cafe letter, a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity is also included.
