23rd President of the United States Benjamin Harrison signed this cut, accompanied by half of the envelope he sent along with it to a Reverend in Cedar Rapids, using a black pen. Harrison served as President 1889 to 1893 and was the first President to install high tariffs and federal spending, but lost his re-election to Grover Cleveland. The envelope is dated February 15, 1894, so right after he left office. Fair condition. The cut measures 2.5” x 1” and the torn-envelope measures 5” x 4”. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Letter of Authenticity.
